Fossheim Hotel
Fossheim Hotel is situated in Lom, it opened in 1897 and has been restored many times since then. Hotel host and wine-expert Svein Garmo is the third generation owner at Fossheim tourist hotel. The host wants you to feel at home when you come to Fossheim. They are engaged in keeping up the old traditions, and proud of they’re cultural inheritage, both when it comes to the local way of building houses, other handcraft ship and not at least the food. Fossheim is nation wide known for they’re celebrated Arne Brimi-kitchen where Kristoffer Hovland now is the chef. Here we use local ingredients according to the changing seasons.Example package:
Day 1: Arrival and check-in to a double room(single room additional kr 290,- pr day)
Three course Fossheim menu of the seasons best ingredients.
Day 2: Starts with a good and long breakfast.
Food-course all day with a coffee break and lunch. You can also choose a half-day course with a meeting after lunch.
Five-course menu, eventually a seven course menu if desired.
Day 3: After breakfast and checkout, the trip goes to Sjoa and a daytrip rafting through Heidal before you turn your nose for home.
